Holiday Art Clubs for Children

Inspire Creativity this School Holidays!

Give your child the chance to create, explore, and have fun with our exciting holiday art workshops – led by real artists using high-quality materials. Join us for a morning or a full day.

In each session, children experiment with a variety of artistic techniques and materials while learning about famous artists, art movements, and key elements of art history.

From line, tone, shape and colour, to space, perspective and form – they’ll build skills and confidence as they create their own masterpiece to take home at the end of the day.

– All materials and protective wear are provided.

– Please bring a nut-free snack (for half-day sessions) or lunch (for full-day sessions).

– Suitable for children aged 5 to 11 years.

Tuesday 11 August

Graceful Flamingo 10am-12pm

Let’s create a vibrant flamingo amongst beautiful long leaves this summer using velvety Gouache paints on thick watercolour paper. We’ll be exploring drawing techniques and developing painting skills. Great for kids who love to focus on details.

Take home your painting masterpiece at the end!

Abstract Lion, 1-3pm

Let’s explore the world of imagination and create our own colourful lion! Children will use watercolour paints and pencils with various brushes and techniques to create this beautiful painting.

This workshop is perfect for children who love to get a little messy and very creative!

Wednesday 12 August

Van Gogh Cherry Blosson, 10am-12pm

In this workshop we’ll be creating our own cherry blossom tree on canvas inspired by the famous Vincent Van Gogh. We’ll be using artist quality acrylic paint and painting in layers to achieve this beautiful painting.

Kids painting Frida's portrait at their art club with Arty Amber, overview

Frida Kahlo Portrait, 1-3pm

Let’s get inspired by the wonderful Frida Kahlo and paint her portrait whilst learning all about her life and art. Children dont need any previous experience to achieve this painting, they will explore drawing techniques and painting on canvas with artist quality acrylic paints. This session encourages children to look closely, think imaginatively, and express themselves with bold colours and designs!
