Private Art Lessons, for Children and Adults
What is Private Tuition and who can benefit the most from it?
Private tuition is great for more focussed lessons tailor-made to your individual needs. Each lesson includes a range of materials including paints, pencils, pens, pastels, brushes, charcoal, protective clothing and more!
A lot of time is spent on planning and preparing each lesson so that the student gets the best from the time spent with their artist (either myself or a team member). These are suitable for 4+, GCSE, A levels, university portfolio development, school scholarships and adults. The hourly fee starts from £40 including all materials. That’s around £15 cheaper per hour than my peers with similar training.
An art pod is in response to the current government restrictions. Our aim is for people to access the arts at all times, without compromise. A pod is for 3-4 participants (children and adults) to have their own art club in their home guided by an artist. There is no contract and you can have as many or as few lessons as you like. The hourly fee is from £60 and all materials are included.
What they say about Arty Amber
“Arty Amber, thank you so much for my daughter’s private lessons and for getting her portfolio ready, she couldn’t have done it without your guidance and its been a pleasure having you in our home. Thank you!”
Terry Noals, mum of Tara (16 years)
“I never knew there was so much to learn about art! My 2 children loving having their very own art lessons, its developed their ability and they can now do artwork with confidence”
Maya Havers, mum of Nicola & Jake (10 & 12 years)
“Arty Amber was recommended to me to help my son put a portfolio together in order to apply for graphic design BA courses. The catch was, there were only two weeks to do so. Amber introduced him to new techniques and media with which he was able to create great pieces of work, she advised him on the structure and the visual layout of his portfolio and how to make it look fit for university interviews. She was amazingly accommodating and flexible at all times. With her work, she not only inspired my son but the rest of us as well – She is an amazing artist indeed! most importantly, my son got offered and accepted a place in Falmouth Universtity (his first choice). He continues to explore the techniques Amber taught him and has got confidence to venture further afield with his art. I hope to have some tutoring from Amber for myself and my daughter in the future too. A truly inspirational, calm and relaxing art adventure. Thank you Amber! We were very lucky to find you.”
Renata Ritchie, mum of Lucas (18 years)
“My daughter has always loved making art, but she wasnt getting the help in school or at home so I thought I would get her some private lessons with Arty Amber. She’s developed so much in such a short time and she’s enjoyed every lesson! Well worth it”
Simon Palmer, dad of Poppy (10 years)
