The Arty Amber Art Awards

Firstly, congratulations on your commitment to your child’s art education. Art Award is a wonderful achievement for young people and the best thing about it is that its non-competitive. Art Award is for 8-13 year olds who want to take art that extra step further and be challenged. It helps young people to grow artistically whilst gaining awards for their progress. Spaces are strictly limited!

Courses are held at the Cassiobury Infants and Nursery School, WD17 3BT on Tuesdays during term time.

MARC CHAGALL’S CIRCUS

8-13 year olds
Tuesdays 5.15-6.15pm
Autumn Term

Students will research, create and explore, building a portfolio of completed works around the theme of Circus. We will be looking at ‘circus’ by exploring Marc Chagall’s work and then creating an interpretation in Chagall’s whimsical style. Students will use a range of media such as water colour, soft pastels and acrylic paint and will be creating 2 or more completed art works that demonstrate these learning objectives. Students are awarded a certificate upon completion of their portfolios.
