Art Teacher Arty Amber

About Arty Amber – A Multi-Award Art School

Arty Amber is a multi-award winning art education initiative.

Amber’s philosophy on art teaching is to encourage and nurture original thinking and creativity in each student, giving them the technical skills to communicate their ideas, thoughts and inspirations.

The benefits of an art education are multiple, but some key areas are development of handwriting for young children, communication, self-organisation, self-control, delayed gratification, perseverance, self-expression, emotional development and many more.

Amber has 8 years teaching experience with students of varying needs and abilities from ages 4-18 years old. She has taught for schools, art centres, galleries, courses and privately, always getting fantastic results from the students. As a trained Waldorf teacher Amber has a very calm, friendly and creative approach to teaching, encouraging and supporting the students to push past their creative barriers.

Amber is able to teach pencil, pen, charcoal, pastel, watercolour, acrylic and oil paint, guiding the students through their work using creative and engaging exercises.

Students will embark on their own creative projects, seeing it through until the end where they learn a very important lesson…never give up!

Amber has a 1st class Ba (Hons) Degree in Art Management, a Diploma in Visual Arts, a Certificate in Waldorf Education and is studying a Diploma in Botanical Art at the London Art College. She has a personal art studio in Watford next to the Grand Union Canal.
